The lock /unlock button beside the handbrake does not work either( which makes me think it's not a key issue) When I put the key into the driver's door, I can lock/unlock all doors. (All indicator Lights flash when doing so). Central locking Fuse in the fusebox on drivers side is ok and tests fine. Any ideas where else to look? Thanksdieseldub. No coding is required. The lock/latch module electrically is nothing more than a bunch of switches, most all on the same circuit board, and an electric motor. It is not diagnostic capable, it's just sending signals to the door control module, which is part of the window motor. My sensors started to go crazy. They would beep sporadically when backing up even though there were no obstacles in the way. So, they became a bit useless.I
Škoda Octavia ; Skoda Octavia Mk II (2004 - 2013) Central locking won't work so have to lock it with the key. Seems like the car thinks the key is still in the ignition. If I manually turn the stereo off and turn the lights off, I usually leave them on auto, then I can lock the car with the key.
